Gmail Integration
Connect your Gmail account to extract from email threads without leaving Extraktr. Works with the web app and the Gmail Add-on for in-context extraction.
Connecting Gmail
- Go to Settings → Gmail Account
- Click “Connect Gmail Account”
- Complete the Google OAuth authorization
- Your Gmail address appears in the connected accounts list
Extracting from Gmail
From the extraction page, switch to the “Gmail” source tab. Select a connected account, then choose a thread to extract. The full conversation thread is pulled and processed.
Gmail Add-on
The Gmail Add-on lets you extract directly from within Gmail. When viewing an email thread, the add-on sidebar shows an “Extract” button that sends the thread to Extraktr.
- Install the Extraktr Gmail Add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace
- Open any email thread in Gmail
- Click the Extraktr icon in the sidebar
- Link your Extraktr account (one-time setup)
- Click Extract to process the thread
Managing Accounts
You can connect multiple Gmail accounts. To disconnect, go to Settings and click the remove button next to the account. Re-authorization may be needed if Google tokens expire.
