Engine Settings

Engine Settings

Workspace owners and admins can configure extraction engine behavior for all workspace members. These settings affect how the extraction pipeline processes conversations within the workspace.

Enhanced Deduplication

When enabled, the extraction engine applies stricter deduplication logic to prevent the same task or decision from appearing multiple times in the output. This is particularly useful for long threads where action items are restated or confirmed by multiple participants.

  • Reduces duplicate tasks across a single extraction
  • Uses semantic similarity, not just exact text matching
  • Enabled per-workspace by an owner or admin

Route Priority Hints

When enabled, the routing engine uses priority signals from extracted items to influence delivery order. Higher-priority tasks and escalated risks are routed first when multiple items are sent to outbound destinations in a single pass.

  • Affects outbound delivery ordering, not extraction itself
  • Works with all configured routing rules and destinations
  • Enabled per-workspace by an owner or admin

Review Norm Nudge

Workspace owners and admins can enable extraktr_review_norm_enabled to show a lightweight review norm cue in supported surfaces. This setting is a norm and nudge only: it does not block sending, enforce policy, or override explicit user decisions.

  • Encourages review behavior through copy cues only
  • Does not enforce workflow gates or hard-stop outbound execution
  • Enabled per-workspace by an owner or admin

Slack Checkpoint Digest

Workspace owners and admins can configure an optional Slack bot channel digest for checkpoint visibility. The setting supports daily or weekly cadence and reports only aggregate counts.

  • Includes approved vs ignored checkpoint totals for the selected cadence
  • Can optionally include open checkpoint counts grouped by channel
  • Message body is counts-only (no raw thread titles and no customer PII)

Default Slack message shape (numbers depend on your workspace activity; the optional channel section appears only when that option is enabled):

Extraktr checkpoint summary (YYYY-MM-DD–YYYY-MM-DD UTC)
Aggregate counts only—no thread titles or conversation text.
Approved checkpoints: N
Ignored checkpoints: N
In review (no actions routed yet): N
In review by Slack channel (counts only; channel IDs):
- C…: N

Configuring

Access engine settings from Settings within your workspace. Only owners and admins can view and modify these toggles. Changes take effect immediately for all workspace members.

Engine settings are workspace-scoped. Personal extractions outside of a workspace are not affected by these settings.
