Microsoft Teams Integration

Connect Microsoft Teams to extract from chat messages and channel threads. Works with the Teams personal tab app for embedded extraction.

Connecting Teams

  • Go to Settings → Microsoft Teams
  • Click “Connect Microsoft Teams”
  • Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorize Extraktr
  • Your tenant appears in the connected accounts list
Extraktr uses Microsoft Graph API with read-only permissions for chat and channel messages. No messages are modified or stored.

Extracting from Teams

From the extraction page, select “Teams” as your source. Choose a connected tenant, then pick a chat or channel thread. The conversation is fetched via Graph API and processed through the extraction pipeline.

  • 1:1 and group chats

Teams Tab App

Extraktr also ships as a Teams Tab that can be pinned to any channel or chat. The tab provides a compact extraction view — extract the current conversation directly within Teams without switching to the browser. See the Teams Tab documentation for setup.

Token Refresh

Microsoft tokens expire periodically. If extraction fails with an auth error, go to Settings and click “Refresh” next to your Teams account. You may be prompted to re-authorize.
