Outlook Add-in

The Outlook Add-in brings Extraktr directly into your Outlook inbox. Extract conversations from email threads without leaving your mail client.

Installing the Add-in

• Open Outlook (desktop or web)
• Go to Get Add-ins → Search “Extraktr”
• Install the Extraktr add-in
• The Extraktr icon appears in your message toolbar

Linking Your Account

The first time you use the add-in, you need to link it to your Extraktr account. The add-in displays a link code — open the provided URL in your browser, sign in to Extraktr, and the link completes automatically. This is a one-time setup.

Extracting from Outlook

While viewing an email thread, click the Extraktr icon in the toolbar. The add-in reads the email content and sends it to the extraction pipeline. Results appear in the add-in sidebar or you can open the full view in your browser.

Raw Content vs. Graph API

The add-in can extract using the email content visible in the current view (raw content mode) or fetch the full thread via Microsoft Graph API. Graph mode provides complete thread context including all replies, but requires additional authorization.
